Obituary of Shirley Anne Martin

Martin, Shirley Anne Grand Crafter of Martins Crafts It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother Wolf, Shirley Anne Martin (nee Maracle) who passed away peacefully at her home in her sleep on Monday, July 20, 2015. Born in Belleville Ontario on October 16, 1937 to Samual Cliffton Maracle and Alice Eleanor Brant. Shirley will be forever missed by her brother Lenny and is predeceased by brothers Theodor and Robert Maracle. Shirley was married on May 8, 1954 to John Earnest Martin and was gifted with 7 children, Margaret (Eric Pond), Louie (Wanda Martin), Nancy (Victor Green), Elaine Martin, Lisa (Bob) Martin, Joe (Amy) Martin and predeceased by son Freeman Martin all from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Shirley will also be missed by her 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Family and Friends will be received at Shirley’s home, 145 Hwy #49 on Tuesday July 21, 2015 and on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. at 1807 York Road in the Council House with a service at 3:00p.m. Interment to follow in Christ Church Cemetery For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association in memory of Shirley.
