Smart, Alberta `Granny Gertie` With family by her side on December 19, 2013 at Hastings Manor Nursing Home in her 84th year. Loving wife of the late Sonny Smart. Daughter of the late Lionel and Jeanne Labelle. Cherished mother of Ted (Alice), Donald (Debbie), George (Carlene), Nancy (Chuck), Tim (Bonnie) and predeceased by her daughter Paulette. Treasured grandma of Brenda, Christopher, Kevin, Tommy, Paul, Nikki, Danielle, Mandy, Kerrie, Michelle, Jody, Chuckie, Tyler, Jake and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased her granddaughter Amy. Alberta will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters and their families. Family and Friends will be received at the Community Centre on York Road, Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. to Celebrate her Life.
