Joan will be missed by many. It really tugs at my heart when friends pass and I'm so far away in Korea. Thanks Joan for the numerous slippers that my mom had you make for me. And perhaps for that extra pair you made for me when you'd stopped making slippers. I've still got them.
My sympathies and heartfelt condolences to all the family. Joan was like a second mother to me. I always felt welcomed to her home and remember fondly our conversations in the kitchen. She was a gracious and loving person and will be missed.
