We extend our deepest and dearest sympathy to Harry, Joy, Steve, Andrew, Trudy and Julia on the passing of our close friend Terry.
I first met Terry when he joined Camlachie Fire and Rescue. A life-time bond instantly developed and grew in strength each year. It was obvious that he possessed great leadership skills as he soon was elected to a captain rank. This was a man that lived firefighting with a hugh passion and determination.
His contagious smile and ability to touch people showed in many aspects of his life: work, firefighting, fishing, Masonic and Scottish Rite, and many other community and charitable organizations he supported.
Terry has gone on to be with his Maker. Glad he is in peace. May the family be given the courage and strength to carry on as Firefighter #24 will always be looking over you.

To Terry's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Terry was a wonderful friend. We spoke on the phone every week for the last year. Sometimes 2 or 3 times. Terry was a very important part of my life for many years and although I moved away and married he always remained my friend.
When he moved into our neighbourhood my family always joked that we adopted him. We loved him dearly and will miss him every day.
I love you Terrance J.

Mr. and Mrs. Rands and family. We are very sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your son Terry. I know how proud you were of him from the times I was at your home with Terry. We had a lot of laughs both while I worked for Plympton Township, The Town of Plympton-Wyoming and OMI. Terry was so enthusiastic about the Camlachie Fire Dept. that you had to run for cover when he got a fire call and was leaving the plant. We swapped fish stories. He was always interested inhow the hockey team I helped with was doing. He certainly left his mark in the Camlachie area. I think everyone knew him. We are thinking of you at this sad time.

To Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rands and family. So sorry to hear of your loss. Terry has always had that infectious personality that made him such an easy person to get to know. When he first joined the Camlachie Fire Dept. it was obvious that he would be one that would be a great asset to the Dept. eager to learn and his sence of humour will never be forgotten.
RIP Randsy

When I talk about some the best times I had working for OMI, Terry’s name will always be mentioned. Over the 16 years or more we became great friends and I am deeply saddened by his passing. He always brought a smile to my face and could always brighten any room in any situation. I know how tough a time this must be for the family but I pray that such fond memories will help ease the hurt you must feel. May God grant you all peace and comfort
