Obituary of Valerie Jean Claus

Claus, Valerie Passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in her 59th year. Valerie Jean was born on July 6, 1959 to the late Vernon Leslie and Beatrice (Joan) Claus (nee Rion). Beloved mother to Christopher Moon. Predeceased by Kurt Moon. Cherished sister of Gary of Picton, Bonnie (Joe Turcott) of Tyendinaga, Dale (Louise) of Deseronto, Carol Ann of Belleville, Pat (Brian) of Deseronto, Steven of Toronto, Angela (Jamie) of Oshawa and sister-in-law of Karen and Sue. Predeceased by her siblings Donna Lynn, Wayne and Ronnie. Valerie will be sadly missed by her special long time friends Sandy, Chaz and the Boys. Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, 2017 between the hours of 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with an Interment at a later date. Following the Funeral Service everyone is invited to the Deseronto Legion Branch #280, downstairs, for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
