Pa, as I fondly knew her, was always a kind and gentle soul. Her soft personality was very reflective of the old people on the Slash, which is also where my Mom and my Grannie's family roots began also. The Slash holds a special place in my heart and It was always HOME to Pa!
It is always sad for me to think that we have lost yet another of our gentle Mohawk Elders. Their legacy will be cherished and we all carry fond memories of Pa and Vernon and Lester. We are all the better to have known them! Rest in Peace, Pa and may choirs of angel sing you to your rest...
