Obituary of Lucas Allen David Brant

Brant, Lucas Lucas was a vibrant 13 year old boy who was loved by friends and followers worldwide. His story touched many people and his 5 year battle with brain cancer was still winning, as he accomplished something he loved to do... inspire people. Lucas began his journey to the sky world at 4:50am on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from Ependymoma Brain Cancer, with his parents and family at his side in the comfort of his dad’s home. Lucas was an inspiration to so many who knew him, his legacy, spirit and love for life will continue to inspire, and love forever. Lucas biggest concern in life was the concern for others, making sure if he could help you, he would... above himself. Lucas will be sadly missed and so treasured and loved by his mother Angie (Cory) his father Josh (Tina) his grandparent Kathy and Ric and Orval and Lillian and so very many great aunts, great uncles, aunts and uncles, cousins and so many friends and classmates, teachers, and followers worldwide. He is pre-deceased by his grandmother Margaret and Great grandmother Iva ‘Ol Nan’. Family and friends may be received on Saturday, March 18, 2017 between the hours of 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. Celebration of his life will follow at 3:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. As per Lucas own wishes, donations can be made in his name to CERN (collaborative ependymoma research network) who devote themselves to studying the disease that Lucas was faced with, in hopes of helping someone else, facing the challenges he was.
