Kunkel, Judy Kathleen (nee Brant)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, April 30, 2023.  Daughter of the late Bruce and Lois Brant.  Loving partner of Wally Maracle.  Cherished mom of Tim Kunkel (Theresa), Kevin Kunkel and Alan Kunkel.  Dear sister of Bruce Lewis (Candy) and sister-in-law of Karen Lewis and Cindy Brant.  Predeceased by her brother Lorne Lewis and Kenneth Brant.  Treasured grandma of Michael, Alicia, Larisa, Tyler, Andrew and Casandra.  She will always be remembered by her niece Jill Beck (Kevin) her nephews Trevor Lewis (Sherry), Kyle Brant, Jeffrey Lewis (Kari), Chris Brant and her many great nephews and nieces.  A special thank you to Kaila, Karen, Carrie, Pat and others from Tyendinaga Home and Community Care for all of their care and compassion.  Family and Friends will be received at Smith & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment in All Saints Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Deseronto Legion Branch 280 in memory of Judy.
