Andrew passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre at the age of 46 after a 6 month battle with cancer. Andy was born on July 14, 1977, in Napanee to Ronald and Ann Conger.  Cherished husband of Julie (nee Maracle) for 17 years.  Loving dad of Peyton (16), Landon (15) and Hudson (13).  Andy leaves behind his siblings Mike Conger (April) and Tracey Conger (Jeff Stewart), his father-in-law Scott Maracle and his brother-in-law Morley Maracle (Nikki).  Andy will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Logan Conger (Shanleigh Maracle), Griffen Conger (Arlisse Holden), Harley Stewart, Marshall Maracle and Kaylie Maracle and his great nephew Bennett Andrew Michael Conger.  Andy will be remembered fondly by many in the Deseronto community and surrounding areas for his work at the Deseronto Community Centre, with Deseronto Minor Ball, the Deseronto Fire Department and with the city of Quinte West, where he worked as the Assistant Manager of Building, Facilities and Arenas.  Andys passion was his family, friends and sports.  Andy will be remembered as the sports dad who was always cheering on his kids and grinning ear to ear watching them do what they loved.  Visitation will be on Monday, August 28, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home, Deseronto.  A Celebration of his Life will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in the Deseronto Community Centre, on the ice pad at 1:00 p.m..  The family encourages everyone to wear their favourite sports team memorabilia or jersey to the Celebration of Life.  In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Andy.
