I knew Al from his Loyalist College connection when I worked there. Even as a much younger man he had wisdom and knowledge which he shared so generously. I loved his ability to teach through story telling. He worked at making the world a better place with kindness, compassion and humour . He will be missed by more people than his family knows. My condolences to you all.

I remember the younger Alan when we used to hang out as we got older didn't see each other often. The morning I saw you at Tim Hortons in Napanee never thinking that would be the last.
Please say a Big Hello to Your Uncle Bob for us. We will miss you but keep you in our hearts.
