Obituary of Brian Thomas Stafford

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian T. Stafford, C.E.T., Vice-President and Chief Designer of EMS-Tech Inc. Entered into Rest and surrounded by his family at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital, Napanee on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 in his 66th year. Brian was born at the Belleville General Hospital on October 20, 1953 and was raised on his family farm in Tyendinaga Township. Predeceased by his father, John Stafford and survived by his mother, Mary Stafford (Root). Beloved husband of Sharon Stafford (nee Ervine), for 43 years. Loving father of Kerry Lynn Finnie (Kevin), Belleville and Lee Ann Howatt (Ryan), Georgetown. Grampy to Carson Finnie and Jack and Oliver Howatt. Dear brother of Ruth Blamire (Michael), Belleville, Donald Stafford (Patricia), Florida, U.S.A., Brenda Molnar (Victor), Belleville and Clair Stafford, Tyendinaga Township. Brian will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Steven Ervine (Mavis), Peter Ervine, Darryl Ervine (Janet) and Scott Ervine (Sherry). Family and Friends will be received at McGlade Funeral Home on Friday, March 22, 2019 between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Michael Putnam officiating. If desired, donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation. In keeping with Brian’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held for friends, neighbours and Brian’s employees and business associates at the Tyendinaga Township Community Centre, Melrose Road on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Interment at a later date in Lonsdale Cemetery.
