I knew Wayne mainly through the game of golf. Our annual trips to Wellsboro Pennsylvania and lately Old Forge NY. He was always positive in life and his golf game. We enjoyed having him at the cottage for a couple of games and of course a cold one afterwards to discuss some of our great shots. He carried a cooler with him on the course for his diabetes that had some snacks. He was quick to offer you some chocolate or nuts.
We were shocked to hear of his sudden passing and the thought of not getting to say goodbye.
Will miss you buddy!!
The first time we met this beautiful man, his wife, children, and further family. was at Aaron and Caroline's wedding. Wayne was friendly, kind , open to us and it seemed we had known him for years! Caroline is our niece, so we are extended family to Wayne through their marriage. Sorry to all of you for you loss! May He now rest in peace. So sad how his life ended within months! I remember many weekends with Wayne and Linda visiting from Ottawa. After dinner and putting the children the children to bed, the boys would head to the family room for a game of ping pong. They would laugh so loud and boisterous, it made us girls really laugh upstairs. I think there were many balls hitting the floor instead of the table itself. lol. They would stay down stairs for hours playing that silly game. They both shared the same humorous laughter and we will always remember those visits.
We will miss you Wayne but but will and always remember your fabulous sense of humour.
Wayne and linda were kind and gracious when we lived in Ottawa. We got together a few times for family dinners. One Christmas eve Wayne dressed as Santa Claus and came to the house for Christmas eve for my young kids.
Michael enjoyed playing pool and golfing with Wayne.

Zac loved spending time with Wayne either playing golf or pool. And of course sharing their birthdays
